Eligibility:
The
qualifications, experience and other requirements to be
fulfilled by the candidates seeking the above appointments
are as given below.
Professor of an
Institute of national importance who is on the verge of
retirement or who has recently retired may also apply for
a contract appointment.
Minimum
requirements of qualification and/or experience may be
relaxed in respect of exceptionally outstanding
candidates.

Applications
may be sent upto 15 days prior to the tentative schedule
of interview. In case of candidates applying from abroad,
candidates have to ensure that reports from at least two
referees reach the institute for consideration of their
applications in-absentia. Tentative schedule of interviews
for different departments is mentioned in the Table
above.
