COEP Team wins National level hackathon - 'HackD' at Trivendrum

COEP Startup Skyline labs won 1st prize at 'HackD' - a hackathon held at thiruvananthapuram on 16th and 17th October 2016. The competition was conducted at Envestnet Kerala and had participants from all prominent colleges across India. The aim of this competition was to create innovative software solutions to tackle real life problems of the society. With 'Code for a cause' as the theme for competition, the participants had problem statements related to financial inclusion and healthcare. The solution created by team COEP was a system to make credit score calculation better and more inclusive. Due to it's unique approach, machine learning algorithms and advanced technology stack, this system was highly praised by judges and industry experts.

The team has won an award of rupees 3 lakhs.

The winning team consists of the following members from Computer engineering department:
