COEP Team Octane Racing who participated in SUPRA SAE INDIA 2018, held at Buddh International Circuit, Delhi during 11th and 16th June 2018 has stood 4th in the national level Formula 1 competition along with prizes in three other categories.

1st Runner up in final Endurance race
The awards consist of a total prize amount of Rs. 70000, trophies and certificates.
About 126 teams from across the nation had participated out of which 28 teams competed in the finals.
Dr. P. S. Shinde, Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering is the faculty advisor for Team Octane Racing.
