COEP recently hosted its first ever official TEDx conference which took place at The Mini Auditorium on the 1st of April between 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 pm.The event was successfully organized by the TEDx Organizing Committee of 25 COEPians.TEDxCOEP is COEP’s university-wide TEDx event.
Mr. Susshruth Apshankar, is the COO at SG Analytics with 20 years of Professional Experience with leading MNCs. With his talk, Mr. Apshankar explains how individuals can find the Career of their dreams. Mr. Vivek Patki, is a Chemical Engineer by profession and a Corporate Consultant for CEOs. In his talk, Mr. Patki expresses his concerns and the need for Consumers to know their rights.
Ms. Palak Jain, a final year student of Computer Science from IIT-B and a future Google employee, shared her experience on challenges in life as a student. Ms. Jigyasa Labroo, a recipient of the Gold International Award for Young People and Slam Out Loud. In her talk, Ms. Labroo helps us inculcate her thoughts on why everyone deserves a voice.
Mr. Raul Rodriguez is a Criminal Intelligence Officer at Interpol, With his talk, he explores the solutions to avoid your data from being misused. Mr. Darshan Yewalekar, started off his journey at the age of 16, worked as an intern/custodian at salons in Mumbai before starting his own venture, D Shave Pvt. Ltd. Currently the personal hairstylist for Mr. Ranveer Singh, he believes in turning difficulties into opportunities.
Mr. Ganesh Sonawane, Co-founder and CEO of Arcatron Mobility , explains the world’s current need for purpose driven innovation. Mr. Aseem Srivastav, Former MD at Kirloskar Ebara, In his talk, he enunciates how a different set of thinking skills coupled with an open-minded approach to dynamic situations can help you in the long run.
The conference turned out to be an enlightening experience for COEPians. Kudos to the organizing team!
