Dr. [Ms.] Metkar Shilpa P.
Prof. Shilpa Prabhakar Metkar, completed her bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering and Post Graduation in Electronics with specialization in Computer Technology from Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering & Technology, Nanded affiliated to Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded. She has been awarded Doctoral degree in September 2011. She is recipient of gold medal in third year engineering and third university ranker in final year. She has 15 years of teaching experience. Her areas of interest are Digital Signal Processing, Digital Image Processing and Digital video processing.
She has published 04 papers in national conferences, 16 papers in international conferences and 07 papers in international journals. Book based on her research work entitled Motion Estimation Techniques for Digital Video Coding has been published by International SPRINGER Publication. She is also coauthor of Image And Video Compression: Fundamentals, Techniques, And Applications published by CRC Press.
She is a recipient of prestigious Career Award for Young Teachers-2013 of All India Council of Technical Education and The Institution of Engineers lEl Young Engineers Award 013-2014. Presently she is working as Assistant Professor with Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering Department, College of Engineering, Pune. [An autonomous institute of Government of Maharashta].
