Teaching Responsibility: 

  • Urban Energy Systems (TY B.Tech.): Understanding of the Energy Systems that can be used for planning Cities. Conservation of these Energy Systems by means of Planning. Concepts: Sustainability, Energy Consumption Patterns, Technology appraisal, Financial Viability.
  • Geo-Informatics in Planning (TY B.Tech.): Concept of Remote Sensing and Satellite image acquisition thru Aerial Remote Sensing. To study Planning Information System and its Application in Human Settlements Planning. Base actual core subjects with analysis aimed by image processing in software such as ERDAS Imagine and ENVI.
  • Evolution of Aesthetics, Culture and Technology in Planning (FY. B.Tech): Understanding of fundamentals of Aesthetics, Culture and Technology; the Evolution of Culture and Aesthetics in India and abroad. Development of the ability to relate the historic lessons imparted by the evolution cycle in Planning.
  • Computer Aided Design (SY B.Tech.): Software applications in Planning- AutoDesk AutoCAD Maps for analysis thru georeferenced mapping in vector formats. Google sketch-up and related rendering software for 3D visualization.
  • Development Plan Studio (TY B.Tech): Preparation of a Development Plan for Aurangabad City. Planning Socio-Economic and Cultural development upon trends based analysis.

Current Projects : 

Selected as a Global talent for the co-creation and problem-solving Summit on Sustainable Development Goals organized under United Nations initiative- UNLEASH (www.unleash.org); being held at Copenhagen, Denmark. The 9-day summit (12th to 22nd August, 2017) accompanying not only 1000 global top talents, but also a high number of cutting-edge companies, NGOs, government agencies, investors and foundations for support and guidance.

Submitted a Research Proposal with Electronics and Telecommunication Dept. faculties -Dr. Priti Rege and Dr. Radhika Joshi, regarding my area of interest- on GIS enabled analysis on satellite data for the Smart city initiative. Students are being involved in this project collaborated with Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).

Organized internship at College of Engineering, Pune for Planning students, Civil Dept. on Perception study of Mula Mutha river for Restoration”. Interactions with various stakeholders and active participation of students under our aegis.

A part of the “Unnat Bharat Abhiyan”.
