With the loveliest of smiles the Moon bids adieu,
And hides behind the darkest of veils,
Through drops as pure as the Golden Fleece.
Somewhere a lover, in the dark abyss of the night,
Wide awake, lost in the deepest thoughts,
Glances through the window to witness the union,
And yearns for a similar, tight embrace.
At the sight of lightning, something inside pricks,
A face visualizes in the glistening raindrops,
Desire sparks, fuelled by deep longing,
And off he goes, his heart wildly throbs.
Heavens pouring, winds whistling their best song,
He treads along the creatures of night,
Almost there, reassures himself,
Fights back tears with all his might.
Stops by a gravestone, stares at the name,
With moist eyes kneels besides his love,
Resting in peace deep down under,
With a face as innocent and calm as a dove.
Peeking through the clouds, the Moon witnesses this unique reunion,
Which, unlike the Earthly relations, never ends,
For love is eternal, love is Heavenly,
Just like sky-earth relation, towards eternity it tends…
