Best paper Award at ICCCE-2012 at Chennai

International Conference on Computing and Control Engineering (ICCCE-2012) was conducted at Dr. M. G. R. Educational & Research Institute University, Adayalampattu, Chennai-95, Tamil Nadu, India on 12th and 13thApril 2012.

 1000 papers were received for the Conference all over India and abroad based on their abstracts. 610 papers were accepted for Conference for 14 different tracks.  14 papers were shortlisted for Best Paper award for different tracks.  

Department of Computer Engineering and Information Technology, COEP students of B. Tech (Information Technology), Anuradha Saini  and Neelam Malik  won Best Paper Award under Track : Wireless Sensor Networks/Security/QoS/Pervasive Computing for their  paper  entitled          "Agent-Based Network Intrusion Detection System using k-means Clustering Algorithm"  which is based on Final Year In-house Project under the guidance of Prof. D. D. Kshirsagar. The presentation was judged by Dr. V. Vetri Selvi, Associate Professor, CSE, Anna University, Chennai. This paper will be published in CIIT Journals.
