Prof. Parishwad & his Ph.D student, Mr. Harish Tiwari received the Gandhian Innovation Award for their project titled "Design & Development of 1TR Vapor adsorbtion air cooloing system for truck cabin using heat from engine exhaust" from Padmabhushan Dr. Mashelkar on 5th April, 2012.
There were 488 project entries from 21 states & 14 projects were selected by evaluators in 6 stages.
