College of Engineering, Pune offers a unique opportunity to all the needy students to get Non Governmental Scholarships extended with the support of various corporate organizations. Through these scholarship programs, full/partial financial support is provided to the selected students on merit and need basis.
The terms and conditions for these scholarships are laid down by the respective funding agency. The office of Dean, Student Affairs only coordinates these schemes abiding the rules and regulations.
Online applications are invited in the beginning of each academic year and upon scrutiny and verification the names of suitable candidates are communicated to the respective funding agency. Further, the agency may select the students directly or through the next round of selection process.

To support the needy students COEP facilitates in house ‘Sir Vishveshwarayya Earn while Learn Scheme’ where students work in the Department under the guidance of faculty on research/ academic/ project work or extend help in the administrative sections like hostel/ library/ accounts/ student section etc.
The scheme is operated on monthly basis and at the record has to be submitted before the Fifth day of next month. Beneficiary student can work for maximum 50 hours in a month and the sanctioned rate of remuneration is INR 60/- per hour.
