The database consists of 8 different images of single persons palm. The database consists of total 1344 images pertaining to 168 people. The database was collected over a period of one year. The images are named as IMG_person number(image number).jpg for example IMG_001(1).jpg corresponds to person number 1 and his/her 1st image. The images were captured using digital camera. the resolution of images is 1600X1200 pixels. The project is being funded by "Rajiv Gandhi Science and Technology Commission".
