Team Velociracers of College of Engineering Pune (COEP) achieved grand success at the National level Efficycle 2018 competition held during 9th to 13th October 2018, organized by SAENIS and hosted by Lovely Professional University, Jalandar.
This National competition conducted in the domain of Hybrid Vehicle provides opportunity to the students to ideate, design and fabricate a three wheel configuration vehicle powered by human-electric hybrid power and capable of seating two passengers catering to the day to day mobility needs. The vehicle must be aerodynamic, engineered for performance & safety and ergonomically designed. The objective of this National championship is to promote innovation and generate consciousness amongst the young engineers towards environment friendly mobility solution.
Efficycle 2018 witnessed a great footfall this year too, 71 teams competed in the finals. Beating these teams, Team Velociracrers of COEP stood second runners up and also won awards in various categories, bringing laurels and recognition at the National level.
