Established in academic year 2020-21, The department has grown by leaps and bounds and is poised to make a mark in management education. One of its key strengths lies in its exceptional faculty, comprising of experienced industry professionals and research scholars. Our faculty, staff, and students work together in harmony to create a vibrant and supportive environment for personal as well as professional growth. The department places a strong emphasis on producing business leaders for tomorrow’s generation. Therefore, we foster student driven environment under the supervision of leadership of COEP Technological University.

Our belief of adding values to corporate world and society at large drives us to take initiatives like Knowledge Resource Centre for HR professionals across industries, preparing value papers for corporate challenges, fostering knowledge sharing through Self Help Groups (finance). Seeing the trajectory so far, we take pride to mention that both the previously passed batches are doing well with their recruiters. About course

We offer a two-year full-time MBA Program with a focus on Finance, Marketing, and Business Analytics. The first year is designed to get exposure to different facets of Management like Finance, Marketing, Operations, Analytics, Human Resources, etc. The student can then choose a specialization for the second year of the program. The specializations offered are Finance, Marketing, and Business Analytics.

Personality Development Program

Personality is one of your most valuable assets in the workplace. A strong personality helps build relationships, communicate effectively, and impactful leadership. That's why it’s important for us to invest a lot in the personal development of our future business leaders. Nowadays, how people perceive an individual forms an individual’s brand. Self-development is a process where a person becomes the enhanced version of his own self. We, here at the Department of Management Studies, have incorporated a very comprehensive self-development program into our curriculum. Various sessions are conducted by high-profile individuals which helps students to be ready to step into the “Corporate World”.

Mr. Sandeep Sinha, a well-known expert with 15+ years of experience in the domain, conducts various programs on Self-development for our students. His sessions are very interactive involving real-life experiences, exposing students to different challenges involving out-of-the-box thinking. Team building activities are conducted which involve interpersonal communication, and building leadership roles through various games, and activities. Simple yet mind break logical questions, case lets help in developing analytical skills. This program is designed so students can understand their SWOT and come out as responsible individuals.

Ms. Malvika Mukerjee, a soft-skill professional of high regard among corporates, conducts sessions improving a student’s communication skills, confidence, and language proficiency. Every individual is different yet unique. Therefore the development modules also have to be individual oriented. With the same philosophy, Mrs Malvika assesses our students on a one-to-one level. The customized competency development plan is made for each student to address the key areas. This program is designed so students can get insights into the corporate environment.

These insight keepers are masters at condensing the most important trends and insights into Business Nuggets, which are further broken down into the categories of Indian Market Trends, Indian and Global Economic Events, and Global Technological Advancements. A curated cadence of Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays witnesses the dispersal of these nuggets to their dedicated WhatsApp Broadcasting Community, sculpting a formidable awareness tapestry.

Finance Club

Guided by the principle of "वित्तं विद्याधनं सर्वम" (vittāṁ vidhyādhanaṁ sarvam), we ardently embrace the notion that financial knowledge stands as the quintessential form of wealth. The Finance team, a dynamic and student-driven initiative, is committed to fostering a profound enthusiasm for finance and bridging the chasm that often separates academic learning from the corporate arena.

Our objective is to fortify students' financial acumen, equipping them with the necessary skills to seamlessly transition into the corporate landscape. This mission is diligently pursued through an array of meticulously designed activities, including news analyses, in-depth evaluations of specific industry sectors, and comprehensive examinations of various roles within the financial realm. These initiatives function as invaluable educational instruments, enlightening students about the intricate facets of the financial domain.

In our pursuit of holistic financial education, we are actively devising plans to provide students with live projects that afford them hands-on experience with financial software, tools, and techniques. Alumni Engagement Centre

The Alumni Engagement Centre is a multifaceted department within the Department of Management Studies that actively promotes and coordinates training programs for alumni, working in close partnership with the university's alumni association. Its scope extends beyond training to encompass comprehensive support and guidance for graduates, fostering a lifelong connection with their academic institution.

This center not only offers professional development workshops but also provides personalized guidance to help alumni navigate their career paths and personal development. Whether through one-on-one counseling, resume reviews, or mentorship programs, alumni receive the necessary support to excel in their professional lives.

In addition, the Alumni Engagement Centre often embraces modern communication channels by hosting podcasts and webinars. These platforms allow alumni to access valuable insights, industry trends, and success stories shared by fellow alumni, faculty, and industry experts. The podcast series, in particular, serves as an engaging and convenient way for graduates to stay connected, learn, and grow within the university community, ensuring that their educational journey continues long after they've received their degrees.

Placement Committee

The placement committee of the COEP Tech’s Management Department is responsible for facilitating the recruitment of MBA students in top companies across various industries. Our student-driven committee works closely with our valued corporate partners to understand their hiring needs and ensure that students are prepared for the job market.

Our placement committee offers a range of services to students, including:

• Career counseling: The placement committee provides students with career counseling to help them identify their career goals and develop a plan to achieve them.
• Mock interviews: The placement committee conducts mock interviews with students to help them prepare for real-world job interviews.
• Pre-placement training: The placement committee offers pre-placement training to students on a variety of topics, such as aptitude testing, interview skills, and resume writing.
• The placement committee is responsible for maintaining a strong network of corporate partners across various industries. This network allows the committee to provide students with a wide range of job opportunities.
