COEP  B.Tech Planning student’s team has won in the Wipro Earthian 2016 sustainability Competition at Bangalore on 4th and 5th Feb. 2017.

COEP  B.Tech Planning student’s team has won in the Wipro Earthian 2016 sustainability Competition at Bangalore on 4th and 5th Feb. 2017. The competition was conducted by Wipro, Bangalore and had participants from all prominent colleges like IITS, IIM, NITS across India. The competition aims at finding solutions to several sustainability issues like climate change, water scarcity, loss of biodiversity etc. This year for the undergraduate students themes were mobility, waste and water. COEP Planning students’ team carried out analysis and gave proposals on Transport Network Integration for Pune City and composed an essay on the topic.

 Due to its unique and sustainable approach for solving the traffic and transport problem of Pune, Project was highly praised by judges and industry experts.

The team has won an award of rupees 1.5 Lakhs.
 (Rs 75,000 for the college and Rs 75,000 for the winning team)
