Success of Team Octane Racing in the Formula Bharat 2019 Competition

Team Octane Racing represented College of Engineering, Pune in the Formula Bharat 2019 Competition this year which took place at Kari Motor Speedway from 23rd - 27th January 2019. Overall 77 teams in the combustion category and 13 in electric category from all over India including IITs and NITs participated in the Competition
. Formula Bharat is the Indian variant of the Formula Student Competitions held worldwide every year. Formula Student is a testing ground for the next generation of world-class engineers. Student teams from all around India design, build, test and race a small scale version of a Formula type single seater open wheel race car. The cars are judged on a number of criteria. Our entire car was made in the college premises itself by our team members.
We are proud to announce the following achievements of our team in Formula Bharat 2019:
· Overall 2nd in Combustion Category
· 1st in Autocross
· 1st in Skidpad
· 2nd in Endurance
· Cost and Manufacturing Event Finalists.
